I write down this note,
As I fill my head with thoughts of you.
I write down all these thoughts,
Feeling a tremendous amount of joy because it's about you.
Every morning, I remind myself of why I still fight,
No matter how hard it is, I just don't want to raise the white flag.
Every evening, I sit down and pray hard,
Because I made it through and is ready for what tomorrow may bring.
And everytime I feel so down,
I smile just by thinking of you.
Everytime I feel lost,
I just look back and remember how far I have already come.
Through the toughest times, you kept me together.
You never gave up on me no matter what.
Through the good times, you learned what really matters.
You never forget the lessons you have learned.
As I stand up and look at your reflection,
I see the invisible scars you wear with you,
But then I smile and feel more determined,
Because for you always I will keep fighting.
